We had our old system replaced by Rotec a few months ago and had some initial problems with it all of which were attended to quickly, even though some issues needed additional equipment there was no addition charges It has worked well since then and we like the fact that it can all be accessed from a phone . The fact that someone will always answers a phone call is in my view a rare thing these days ! All in all a great service and would recommend to anyone looking for an alarm system Brian Cross

We had the misfortune of a burglary in mid December shortly after moving home. The bungalow had an Alarm system but you needed a degree to understand how it operated. A friend recommended ROTEC . They responded quickly with a survey and reasonably priced estimate and on the day of installation the team led by Mark were efficient and courteous and explained comprehensively how easy it was to make the system work. We now feel reassured that we are safe in our own home .

These days companies don’t seem to reward loyalty but guess what, this one does. I have been with them for quite a few years now and have always had great service from them, great friendly staff and brilliant engineers, however they exceeded my expectations when I managed to do something stupid and damaged my alarm, they not only came out to fix it straight away, they did it for me without charge because i was a longstanding customer, the lad who came to do it didn’t laugh at me too much and did a fantastic job, clean and no fuss. Thank you all at Rotec alarms, this customer is going nowhere and I will continue to recommend you and the great service you provide
We have been using Rotec Alarms for 8 years, we have had 2 alarms and security lights fitted by them in our old home and new one. The app they provide to monitor the alarm is brilliant and gives peace of mind when you are away. On going we use their maintenance team for an annual check. They are very professional and good value for money. Their operatives are polite, respectful, efficient, they always get any job fixed first time and quickly which is great when you have a busy home life. I have always recommend them to all my friends and family and I will continue to do so.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! They will take money from your account without your permission, using card details they store (again, without asking your permission!) If you question this, they will argue the point and then refuse to come and look at a fault when you are happy to pay the £100 call out charge! They are also happy to ignore your calls. Very unprofessional. Rotec - It’s Libel to lie on a public forum. Consider this before responding to this review with more lies! It’s against GDPR rules to store somebody’s card details without their permission and it’s fraud to use them.

Mark and his apprentice replaced our house alarm with a new system yesterday. The alarm was fitted much quicker than I expected and the guys tidied up after themselves once they were done. Mark took the time to explain the system to us, making sure we understood everything before he left. Very happy with the service, would definitely recommend.

I had my alarm fitted by Rotec over a year ago, which has been fine. I then Had cctv put in beginning of feb and it has only worked for a max one day. I’ve never been able to get in touch with anyone to get it fixed. The day it was installed it didn’t work but the young lad was only an apprentice so I had to wait for someone more senior I was told to pay regardless if it didn’t work - I paid £784. It’s still not working. This cctv was installed for a reason (a serious security reason) it’s been down for one month and they really don’t care. All they cared about was getting the payment in. It is clear they have experienced great organic growth through delivering a great service with Alarm’s and now they have no staff and no time to deal with customers appropriately. I would not recommend.

After a recommendation from a family member I contacted Rotec for an alarm upgrade and CCTV installation. I am really pleased with both the products and the services provided. I’ve used Mark for alarms in 3 houses at different times . The company has got bigger but Mark offers a personal service at a great price. There is never a hard sell or selling more than you need . Honest advice on security and what he is able to offer. The product is also awesome ! I recommend this company and Mark without hesitation .

We had an alarm fitted last year and found them to be very professional and helpful to deal with. Turn up when they say they will and were also quick to help by moving a sensor when we had some work done on our house. The alarm they sell with the mobile app is also really good so would defintely recommend.
